Aunt Maggie’s recipe.
Ingredients
3 pounds peaches
3 pounds sugar
grated rind of 1 orange
2 oranges, pulp and juice
1 small bottle maraschino cherries, with juice
sure jell
Method
Method
Peel well ripened peaches and cut in small pieces. Cover with sugar and let stand over night. Cut cherries fine and add to orange juice and pulp. Combine with peaches and sugar. Let stand a few minutes. Bring to boiling point. Add sure jell or certo. Pour in jars and seal.
