Ingredients

BRINE

 2 cups white vinegar

 6 cups water

 ½ cup salt

 ¾ cup sugar

CUCUMBERS

dill

garlic cloves

green peppers, chopped

Method

1. Place dill, 3 cloves garlic and a few pieces of green pepper in bottom of each jar.

2. Wash and cut cucumbers in quarters lengthwise and pack tightly into jars.

3. Cucumbers should be packed tightly so that only 1 cup of brine goes into each quart of pickles.

4. Bring brine to boil. Fill jars with hot solution and seal tightly. Put in 200 degree oven for 1 hour.
