Ingredients
1 cup sugar
4 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons white syrup
1 cup water
3 tablespoons strawberry jello
red food color, if desired
1 large quart stawberries, cut up
baked 9″ pie shell
whipped cream, to serve
Method
Slowly cook sugar, cornstarch, white syrup and water until clear. Remove from heat and add strawberry jello and red food coloring if desired. Cool. Stir in strawberries. Put in baked pit shell. Serve with whipped cream.
