Ingredients

 1 12 ounce package chocolate chips

 4 eggs

 ¼ teaspoon salt

 2 teaspoons vanilla

 1 cup light corn syrup

 2 tablespoons melted butter

 1 ½ cups coarsely chopped pecans

 1 unbaked 9″ pie shell

Method

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In small saucepan, melt chocolate chips, stirring occasionally over low heat. In medium bowl beat together next 5 ingredients. Slowly add melted chocolate, stirring rapidly with a wire wish or spoon. Fold in pecans. Pour into pie shell. Bake about 50 to 60 minutes or until center is set. Cool, cut into 10 servings.
