Good luck with this. I remember and loved Mom’s jelly roll, but something seems to be missing, like the jelly? I guess this is an example of “if you need to ask how to do it, you shouldn’t be trying the recipe.” In my world that means, “Ask a wiser sister for help.”

Ingredients

 1 cup flour

 1 cup sugar

 1 tsp lemon extract

 pinch of salt

 2 tsp baking powder

 4 eggs

 4 tablespoons water

1. Stir well.

2. Form hole.

3. Drop in eggs and water.

4. Stir well.

5. Bake 375 degrees
