Ingredients

BRINE

 4 cups sugar

 4 cups vinegar

 ½ cup salt

 2 cups water

 1 teaspoon celery seed, or mustard seed

 7 pints sliced cucumbers

sliced onion

fresh dill

Method

1. Place dill, sliced cucumbers and onions in 7 pint jars.

2. Boil sugar, vinegar, salt, water and celery (or mustard) seed for 10 minutes and pour over cucumbers.

3. Process.
