Ingredients

Dill

sliced onion

sliced cucumbers

BRINE

 4 cups sugar

 2 cups vinegar

 2 cups water

 2 tablespoons salt

 2 tablespoons pickling spices

Method

1. In bottom of each quart jar place 1 head dill and 1 slice of onion.

2. Bring to boil sugar, vinegar, water, salt and pickling spice.

3. Add cucumber slices to brine and heat slowly until they change color.

4. Fill jars and seal.
