Ingredients

 1 cup sugar

 2 heaping tablespoons cocoa

 ½ cup flour

 ¼ teaspoon salt

 2 egg yolks

 ½ cup cream

 1 ½ cups hot water

 1 teaspoon vanilla

baked pie shell

 2 egg whites

 6 tablespoons sugar

Method

Beat sugar, cocoa, flour, salt, egg yolks and cream together. Add hot water and cook until thick. Add vanilla. Pour into baked crust. Cool. Beat egg whites with sugar for the meringue.
