A recipe from Gertrude Malin. Mrs. Malin (as Mom always addressed her) was the person for whom she worked (keeping house) while she was in college at Valley City State.

Ingredients

 4 cups cubed rhubarb

 2 cups sugar

 2 tablespoons flour

 1 ½ cups sugar

 1 ½ cups flour

 1 ½ cups oatmeal

 ½ teaspoon baking soda

 ⅔ cup butter, melted

Method

1. Mix rhubarb, 2 cups sugar, and 2 T. flour and put in large pan.

2. Combine 1 1/2 cups sugar, 1 1/2 cups flour, oatmeal, soda and butter. Put

over rhubarb mixture and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
