Ingredients

 8 graham crackers

 ½ cup chopped walnuts

 1 tablespoon gelatin

 ¼ cup cold water

 4 egg yolks

 ½ cup sugar

 1 cup crushed pineapple and juice

 4 egg whites

 ½ cup sugar

Method

Roll graham crackers until crushed. Add chopped walnuts. Soak gelatin in cold water. Beat egg yolks until thick. Add 1/2 sugar and crushed pineapple and juice. Cook in double boiler until consistency of custard. Take off heat and stir in gelatin. Cool. Then beat 4 egg whites until stiff. Add 1/2 cup sugar and beat. Fold into custard and pour over crumbs. Put some crumbs on top. Cool in refrigerator. Serve with some topping and garnish with a cherry.
