Ingredients

15 slices white bread, crusts trimmed

butter, softened

deviled ham filling

egg salad filling

lobster salad filling

 2 8 ounce cartons cream cheese

 1 cup sour cream

radishes

cherry tomatoes

sweet gherkins

DEVILED HAM FILLING

 1 4 1/2 ox. can Deviled Ham

 2 tablespoons mayonnaise

 ¼ cup sweet pickle relish

EGG SALAD FILLING

 4 hard boiled eggs

 2 tablespoons mayonnaise

 ⅛ tsp dry mustard

 ¼ tsp salt

CHICKEN SALAD FILLING

 1 5 oz can chicken

 ¼ cup tomatoes, chopped

 ½ cup celery, chopped

 1 tablespoon lemon juice

 1 tsp onion, grated

 ½ cup mayonnaise

LOBSTER FILLING

 1 cup lobster or crab, cooked and drained

 1 tsp lemon juice

 1 tsp onion

 ½ cup celery

 ½ cup mayonnaise

salt and pepper, to taste

Method

The directions were obvious to Mom. I remember her making this in a loaf pan. After all of the ingredients were listed, she wrote to frost with cheese spread and decorate. The 2 packages of sour cream and the cup of sour cream make the cheese spread. The loaf was “frosted” with the cheese spread after it was removed from the loaf pan. The radishes, cherry tomatoes and pickles must be the garnishes.
