Ingredients

 2 cups fresh cranberries, cut in half

 1 ⅓ cups flour

 ½ teaspoon salt

 ½ teaspoon cinnamon

 ¼ teaspoon nutmeg

 2 teaspoons soda

 ⅓ cup hot water

 ½ cup molasses

Sauce

 1 cup sugar

 ½ teaspoon vanilla

 ½ cup cream

 ¼ cup butter

Method

Pudding: Add liquid to the flour, cranberry mixture. Put in well greased mold or 6 individual molds. Steam large mold 2 1/2 hours. Small molds can be place in a covered cake pan, partially filled with water, and baked at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Serve with warm sauce.

Sauce: Heat thoroughly in a double boiler.
