Ingredients

CRUST

 1 ½ cups chocolate wafers, finely crushed

 ½ cup butter, melted

FILLING

 8 ounces cream cheese, softened

 ¼ cup sugar

 1 teaspoon vanilla

 2 egg yolks, beaten

 6 ounces semi sweet chocolate chips

 2 egg whites

 ¼ cup sugar

 1 cup heavy cream, whipped

 ¾ cup chopped pecans

Method

Crust: Combine crushed chocolate wafers and melted butter. Press into 9″ spring form pan and bake at 325 for 10 minutes.

Filling: Blend cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar and vanilla. Blend well. Add beaten egg yolks and melted chocolate chips. Beat 2 egg whites until soft peaks form and gradually add in 1/4 cup sugar. Fold into chocolate mixture. Whip cream and fold into chocolate mixture. Add 3/4 cup chopped pecans. Pour into spring form pan and freeze. Take out 10 minutes before serving.
