A recipe from the Dakota Farmer Magazine.
Ingredients
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon soda
½ teaspoon salt
6 tablespoons cocoa
4 tablespoons butter, melted
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 cup peanut butter
½ cup milk
Method
Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, salt and cocoa. Mix and beat together butter, sugar, eggs and peanut butter. Add sifted dry ingredients to above mixture alternately with milk. Drop on baking sheet. Press down with fork dipped in cold water. Top with a walnut or pecan half. Bake at 350 degrees for about 8 minutes.
