Judging from the amount of stains on this recipe card, I think this might be her famous pizza sauce. What do you think?

Ingredients

2 cups onion

6 cloves garlic

1 tablespoon olive oil

6 pounds tomatoes, (1 gallon tomatoes)

3 cups tomato paste

1 cup parsley flakes

2 tablespoons oregano

1 teaspoon thyme

4 teaspoons salt

2 cups water

3 bay leaves

2 teaspoons black pepper

2 cup parmesan cheese

Method

Sauté onions and garlic in olive oil. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 30-45

minutes. Freeze in 1 pint containers or can. Process in hot water bath: quarts for 30

minutes and pints for 20 minutes.

Mom added at the bottom of the card:

carrots, peppers and celery to make 2 cups.
