Ingredients
1 ½ cups elbow macaroni
½ cup milk
1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
¼ cup onion, chopped
¼ cup green pepper, chopped
2 tablespoons oil
¼ cup soft bread crumbs
1 15 oz. can tomato sauce
3 eggs, well beaten
½ teaspoon salt
Method
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cook macaroni and drain. Add milk and cheese to
macaroni and mix well. Cook onion and pepper in oil until soft. Add bread crumbs,
stir to coat. Add to macaroni mixture. Stir in tomato sauce, eggs and salt. Mix
thoroughly. Spoon into well greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-55
minutes until set. Let stand 10 minutes. Turn out on platter. Serve slices with
ketchup if desired.
