Ingredients
1 cup melted butter
1 cup chopped onion
2 cups chopped celery
2 8 ounce cans mushrooms, optional
2 eggs, well beaten
12 cups dry bread crumbs
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1 ½ teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 ½ teaspoons sage
3 ½ cups chicken broth
1 teaspoon thyme
Method
Mix butter, onion, celery, spices, broth and eggs. Then add bread. Combine well.
Pour into crockpot. Cook on high for 45 minutes. Turn to low and cook for 4-8
hours.
