Ingredients
6 pounds apples
3 cups sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
½ teaspoon crushed cloves
Method
1. Make applesauce using 6 pounds of apples.
2. Add sugar, cinnamon and cloves.
3. Simmer slowly over low heat, stirring occasionally until thickened.
4. Put in jars and process for 10 minutes in hot water bath.
