Ingredients

1 ½ cups sour cream

2 eggs

1 ¾ cups flour

1 teaspoon soda

½ teaspoon salt

1 cup sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon nutmeg

½ teaspoon cloves

Method

1. Cream together sour cream and eggs.

2. Sift together the remaining ingredients.

3. Add to sour cream mixture and beat together.

4. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

5. To make a chocolate cake out of this recipe, leave out spices and add 5

heaping teaspoons cocoa and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
