Ingredients

¾ cup butter

2 cups brown sugar

½ cup evaporated milk

1 teaspoon vanilla

3 cups powdered sugar

1 cup chopped nuts

Method

1. In heavy saucepan, melt butter. Add brown sugar. Cook 2 minutes (low heat).

2. Add milk and cook until mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat.

3. Cool till lukewarm. Stir in vanilla. Gradually add powdered sugar, beating

vigorously until mix is fudge like. Stir in nut. Put in buttered tin. Cut and cool.
