Is this the fudge recipe Mom would make sometimes and then instead of fudge we had hot fudge topping for our ice cream? I think it was hard to determine when it was at the soft ball stage.

Ingredients
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
⅔ cup cream
1 tablespoon corn syrup
1 tablespoon butter
dash salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
Method
Boil to soft ball stage. Beat until creamy.
