Ingredients

1 ½ cups confectioner’s sugar

1 ¼ cups chunky peanut butter

4 tablespoons butter, softened

1 6 oz. package semi sweet chocolate chips

1 teaspoon shortening

Method

1. In medium bowl with spoon mix sugar, peanut butter and butter until blended.

Knead by hand if necessary. Shape into 1 inch balls.

2. Cover and cool 2 hours.

3. In heavy saucepan over low heat, heat chocolate chips and shortening until

melted, stirring occasionally. Remove saucepan from heat and cool slightly.

4. Using a toothpick, dip balls into chocolate mixture.

5. Refrigerate.

6. Store in covered container in refrigerator.
