A recipe from Marlys!!

Ingredients

4 cups white sugar

2 cups white syrup

1 cup boiling water

½ teaspoon anise oil

coloring, as desired

Method

Pour boiling water over syrup and sugar, stir until it boils. Cover when the mixture

starts to boil. Let it boil 5 minutes and then remove cover and continue to boil until

it cracks in cold water. Add anise oil and coloring as desired.
