1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Sift sugar and flour into mixing bowl.

3. Set aside.
|
|
4. In saucepan, blend coca cola, butter, shortening and cocoa and bring to a boil.

5. Remove from heat and add to flour mixture.
|
|
6. Add eggs and beat until well blended.
|
|
7. Add the buttermilk, baking soda, vanilla and marshmallows.
|
|
8. Mix well.
|
|
9. Bake in greased 9×13 pan.

|
10. Frost warm cake with coca cola frosting.
|

Frosting:
|
|
1. In saucepan, blend butter, coca cola and cocoa and bring to boil. Remove from heat.
|
|
2. Add marshmallows, pecans and sugar.
|
|
3. Mix well.
|
|
4. Spread on warm cake.
|
|
5. If frosting is too thick, add a bit of cola.
