1. In large bowl combine 1 1/2 cups flour, undissolved yeast and salt.

2. Heat milk, water, honey and butter until 120-130 degrees.
|

3. Butter does not need to melt.
|
|
4. Gradually add dry ingredients.
|
|
5. Beat 2 minutes at high speed, scraping bowl.
|
|
6. Add eggs and 1/2 cup flour.
|
|
7. Beat 2 minutes at high speed.
|
|
8. With spoon, stir in flour to make stiff batter.
|
|
9. Place in a greased bowl and grease top of dough.
|
|
10. Cover tightly with plastic and refrigerate 2-24 hours.
|
|
11. On floured board, divide dough into 15 pieces.
|
|
12. Roll each to 20 inch rope.
|
|
13. Divide each rope into 1 (12″) 1 (5″) and 3 (1″) strip.

14. Coil 12″ to make body.
|
|
15. Coil 5″ to make head.
|
|
16. Coil 1″ strips for ears and tail.
|
|
17. Place on greased baking sheet.
|
|
18. Let rise 20-25 minutes.

|
19. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes.

20. Brush with honey glaze: Combine honey and 1/4 cup butter in pan over low heat until melted.
