Ingredients:
4 cups flour
2 cups butter, softened
1 1/4 cups confectioner’s sugar
1 teaspoon double acting baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions:
1. Knead all ingredients by hand until well blended. Dough will be soft. Pat dough into 1 9″ round cake pans. With fork, prick dough in many places.
2. Bake about 45 minutes at 325 degrees. Cool. Store in tightly covered container.
